You saw the Winter Flower Granny made with the Amazing and Caron yarn, and let’s be honest, it’s scrumptious. But what is a girl to do when she runs out and the entire town is an Amazing wasteland? Turn the project into a yarn sampler of course!
Today I’ll show you another set of squares I’m working on to go into the same blanket but the only yarn they have in common with the previous sqaures is the Caron Simply Soft in Off White.
I firmly believe that you can combine unlike yarns very well if there is a unifying color that runs throughout the project. For me, that color is often white or cream simply because I love the contrast and there is something clean about this look that pleases me.
The squares below are made with Red Heart Boutique, Treasure in Abstract and Watercolors, with the Caron SS Off White. This combo may look familiar to you since it is the same combo that I used to make this purse awhile back.
