I’ve got three children, and they have used hundreds, nay, thousands of crayons so far in their lifetimes. A tiny piece of my thrifty soul tears away each time they forsake the old little nubs for a box of sleek, sharpened, cleverly wrapped newbies. So, yes, I’m one of those moms that has a disused wet-wipe box full of forgotten crayon bits. We decided to make a project out of “upcycling” these broken bits into crisp new crayon pucks. I’ve posted some pics here, but for the full instructions and object lesson that goes with them, head over to Purposeful Homemaking (where, for some reason, Becky’s let me loose on her blog, yikes!).
