Begin with Inspiration

I’m the Mother, therefore, I am the one who has to remember everything and organize life. The problem with that is, well, I’m the Mother, therefore, my life is too frantic to remember anything, or even shower. You see, that’s where it all falls apart. But rather than being upset by it, I roll with the blows knowing that I am not alone on my trek. We women were designed for this adventure, prepared by God and given all the tools necessary to manage the art of Womanhood. But sometimes, our tools get rusty, or they don’t really make it off the shelf at all. This is where others comes in handy. Not only do we share in each others’ sufferings, but joys and triumphs as well. This is a tiny place in space and time for that sharing to take place.

Let’s learn, teach, encourage, rejoice, laugh, and pray together, for “the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, waiting with confidence for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.”

Now let’s begin…

Ongoing Inspiration:

  • Women should be teaching what is good, encouraging the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, and  workers at home (Titus 2)
  • Walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma (Ephesians 5)

Hi Charissa,

You are too amazing! I just love how you use your God given talents and share your life with others even in the middle of a very demanding schedule. You are an inspiration and a great example of how to invest your talents and reflect God’s love and kindness.

Diane

Charissa,

Your whole site is so refreshing and inspiring. On days like today, I wish I had spent more time with you, learning from you and picking your brain for the knowledge and experience you have. You are still such an encouragement to me. I admire you for the Titus 2 woman you are.

From one twisted, insane woman & mother to another – you are awesome, Charissa. Some days you eat the bear and some days the bear chews you up, spits you out and stomps on your cold, lifeless body.
Nevertheless, “BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD I AM WHAT I AM, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.” (That first part is how I justify my twisted sense of humor – and yours.)

Charissa, I ‘met’ you last week and now I’ve found your website! I love all your ideas and now I know why you are so inspired~your faith in Christ! Christ has been my source, Lord, Savior and best friend!
I have 2 sons,27 and 30 yr, married in the past year. I homeschooled them when homeschooling wasn’t “in”! My husband and I were married 25 yrs when the Lord took him home in 2004. It was the most devastating time in my life BUT I grew the most! The Lord brought me an amazing 2nd husband to love and live with during this second 1/2 of my life. Even through the hard times, HE is amazing and a faithful God!

Amen! The Lord is very good. Good to us, and we can never be grateful enough. What a wonderful testimony you have of His faithfulness to His children. Thank you for sharing that with us Colette. I hope you keep coming back and sharing more with us. Goodnight Sister.

I love your site. You must be a wonderful Christian woman. Too bad there are not more sites like yours. So uplifting.

madme - July 24, 2012 - 9:01 am

Thank you so much Bessie, I’m glad you enjoy the site. I am a Christian, and wonderful only a fraction of the time! I am daily dealing with my issues and struggling to submit to a Holy God, to find peace in Him, to trust Him for my daily needs and future needs, to honor Him in my family and to accept my hardships with grace. It is a moment by moment struggle, thank God for His grace!
